MAESTRO (in OmdU)

The 28-year-old young composer Leonard Bernstein (Bradley Cooper) meets Felicia Montealegre (Carey Mulligan) at a party. From then on, the graceful and interesting woman enchants his life. Month after month, their affection for each other grows, but Bernstein actually carries a deep secret with him. Only after they both got married does Felicia discover that her husband is homosexual and is secretly living out these longings. In order not to burden her husband, who is now considered one of the greatest composers and conductors of all time, or their three children, she keeps the secret to herself. However, the lonely nights and her husband's immersion in music demand everything from her. Their relationship, in which both of them soon have extramarital affairs, is repeatedly put to the test until Felicia, but also Leonard, gradually perish as a result. (Text from the start of the film)
