After 15 years of marriage, Angela (Olivia Wilde) and Joe's (Seth Rogen) relationship is in crisis. They haven't had dinner parties with other couples in a long time. When Angela spontaneously invites the neighbors from the apartment above them, it turns out that Pina (Penélope Cruz) and Hawk (Edward Norton) are more sympathetic to her than their distant encounters in the elevator had previously suggested.
